Jay Busbee is a writer at Yahoo! Sports, where he edits the NASCAR blog From the Marbles and golf blog Devil Ball. His work has appeared in the print publications and websites of Esquire, ESPN, USA Today, the Washington Post, Deadspin, Atlanta, and many other outlets, and he has been linked and quoted by The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Sports Illustrated and The Atlantic Monthly. He is the author of two previous books, the novel The Face of the River and the business advice book Jam!, with Jeff Carlisi and Dan Lipson.
A graduate of the College of William & Mary and the University of Memphis’s Master of Fine Arts program, he lives in Atlanta. And by taking on this weekly novel-writing gig, he may very well be insane.
